During my layover in Lisbon on my way to Madeira, I had the opportunity to capture the beauty of the city through my lens. One of the highlights of my visit was the Praça do Comércio, a grand square overlooking the Tagus River. The Arco da Rua Augusta, a triumphal arch adorned with statues, served as a stunning focal point in my compositions. I also took photos of the famous Elevador de Santa Justa, a historic lift designed by Raul Mesnier de Ponsard in the early 20th century. This iconic landmark connects the lower streets of the Baixa neighborhood to the higher Largo do Carmo square, offering panoramic views of the city from its observation deck at the top.

In addition to these iconic landmarks, I explored the city’s charming streets, capturing the vibrant atmosphere and colorful architecture that Lisbon is known for. Despite the limited time, my layover in Lisbon allowed me to experience the city’s unique charm and beauty through my photographs.
